The Huawei Nexus 6P quickly became my favourite Android device of the year. It had a great camera, a improved version of Android that brought great battery life, and to round it off it was wrapped up in a solid metal body.

As 2015 comes to a close, it’s that time of year for the annual “best of …” or “favourite thing of 2015.”
This post will be focusing on the apps that I used the most this year, so much that I consider them my favourite apps of 2015. Some of these apps might not have come out in 2015 but some have been significantly since last year’s post: Favourite Apps of 2014.
Some of these apps are just available on only one platform (just Android or just iOS) but some of them are multiplatform in which they are on both Android and iOS and have a web app as well.
The links to download these apps will be in the form of “Get on Google Play” or “Get it on the App Store” pictures after each app description.

In the 20 year history of E3 (and this year marks the 20th), Bethesda has never held a press conference, until this year. They called it the Bethesda E3 Showcase.
In case you missed Bethesda’s E3 showcase, the entire thing is now on YouTube:
Bethesda has some pretty exciting announcements to make and some cool demos to show off.
Google has unveiled their own live-streaming platform for games to take on the likes of Twitch (which is owned by Amazon). The new platform is called YouTube Gaming.
There were a number of announcements that were made at Apple’s WWDC 2015 keynote. The event first started off with a intro video starring former-SNL star, Bill Hader and also included Danny Pudi of Community fame.
The video below is the opening video for the keynote.
And you can watch the full keynote here: Apple WWDC 2015 keynote.
After the video, Tim Cook came on stage but he did things a bit different this year. He did not talk about all the record breaking numbers that Apple has achieved over the last year, he saved those for later on.
The first announcement of the day was OS X 10.11 El Capitan. The name for this version of the OS still falls in a with Apple’s new California-based names.
OS X El Capitan brings along a whole slate of new features while still retaining the look that OS X Yosemite brought last year.
There were a lot of announcements that were made during the Google I/O 2015 keynote. From a preview of the next version of Android to the Internet of Things and a Google Cardboard update.
