After numerous delays and leaks, Google’s Pixel 4a has finally arrived.
As 2019 has come to a close, it’s time to look back at some of my favourite things, gadgets and so forth from the 2010s.
After basically confirming the Pixel 4 back in June, Google has announced some new features coming to their flagship phone for this year.
Back when Google announced the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL in October, they also announced a camera mode called Night Sight. It essentially helps make low-light photos even better.
Usually, with phones leaks, we get a few blurry images or renderings in the months and weeks before a phone’s official announcement. But now a rumoured Pixel 3 XL final production unit has leaked out, just less than two months before Google’s official announcement.
Google has officially announced the name for their upcoming Android update, with Android 9 Pie.
Google has teamed up with Rose and Joy Broadbent (better known as The Broadbent Sisters) to launch a new series of designs of Google Live Cases.
When I reviewed the Google Pixel XL last year, I called it “easily the best phone that Google has produced”, but with the Pixel 2 & Pixel 2 XL this year, they don’t feel like they’re the absolute best, at least in the hardware department but they’re still excellent phones overall.
I’ve been using the Pixel 2 XL for a few weeks, and it’s easily one of the best phones released this year.
Back at their October hardware event, Google showed off AR Stickers which would allow Pixel users bring their favourite characters to life. Google has just announced that AR Stickers are now officially rolling out to Pixel phones.
Google made quite a few announcements including the Pixel 2 and 2 XL, Google Home Mini and the new Google Pixelbook.
