Back at I/O 2018, Google had announced that it was partnering with OEMs to integrate Google Lens into their respective camera apps and now Sony is rolling it out in their latest flagships.
Google has released version 1.0 of their augmented reality SDK, ARCore and some updates coming to Google Lens.
Back at their October 4th hardware event, Google had announced that Google Lens would be coming to the Assistant in “the coming weeks.”
Update – November 21st, 2017: Google has officially announced that Google Lens is rolling out to Pixel/Pixel XL & Pixel 2/Pixel 2 XL users in Canada, US, UK, Australia, India, Singapore in the next few weeks. This post has been updated to reflect that.
