Ever since Black Panther released, it has not only become one of Marvel’s biggest films but also one of the more influential films to be released this year. That’s thanks to director Ryan Coogler’s vision for the film. He was able to combine aspects of African culture into the story and characters while also making a fun superhero film.
Like a lot of people, I had high expectations when I went to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi in theatres back in December. I wouldn’t consider myself a hardcore Star Wars fan but I would still call myself a fan of the series overall. But the film didn’t live to what I was pictured it to be, and a lot of other people feel the same way, especially looking at some audience reviews for the film.
When I saw Thor: Ragnarok in theatres, the film easily became one of my favourite Marvel films to date and I couldn’t wait to see it again and again. Cut to a few months later and the film is now available on Blu-ray and digital.
