Apple has announced a refresh to “the world’s most popular wireless headphones” the AirPods.
When I reviewed the original Samsung Gear IconX back in 2016, I wasn’t too impressed by them because of the okay sound and poor battery life. But thankfully Samsung has been able to fix some of these issues with the Gear IconX (2018).
The world of wireless earbuds are quickly becoming more popular thanks to Apple’s AirPods but on Android side of things, there’s a lot of options out there and it can sometimes be hard to weed out which wireless earbuds are actually good. You have your high-end wireless earbuds like the Bragi Dash Pro and the Bose SoundSport Free and on the cheaper end of the spectrum, you have stuff like the Zolo Liberty+.
As more and more devices (mainly smartphones) start to shift towards having no headphone jack, users will have to rely on either using the included adapter or go wireless. That’s what products like the Bragi Dash Pro comes in, they’re a part of the new segment of wearables (also called hearables) which are truly wireless earbuds.
Samsung has announced that their latest wearables, the Gear Sport, Gear Fit2 Pro and second-gen Gear IconX are now available for purchase in Canada.
At IFA 2017, Samsung announced three new wearables (of which two have been leaked before today), the Gear Sport, Gear Fit2 Pro and the second gen version of the Gear IconX.
Bragi, the fully wireless headphone brand, has just announced two new models to replace the original Dash, with the Dash Pro and the Dash Pro tailored by Starkey Hearing Technologies.
