There were a lot of major announcements made today, even though the actual show starts January 6th. Today was filled with press conference upon press conference.
LG
LG announced their new LG G Flex 2. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p screen. It is being powered by a octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor (the first smartphone with this CPU). You will also have 2GB or 3GB of RAM (depends on your region).
In terms of storage, either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot that supports up to 2TB (And yes, your eyes aren’t deceiving you, it actually supports a 2TB microSD card, even though none exist, yet). You can take great photos with the 13-megapixel rear-facing camera.
LG also announced new Ultra HD Curved TVs, including one that flexes at the touch of a button. There will be a 55-inch, 65-inch and a 77-inch model, all with 4K resolution and powered by Web OS 2.0. The 77-inch model has a flexible screen that can go from flat to curved with a button press. A 98-inch Quad Ultra HD TV was announced with a 7680 x 4320 display, which LG says is four times the resolution of Ultra HD.
