Following its announcement last year, Ubisoft has announced a release date and shown off gameplay for Assassins Creed Mirage.
According to Ubisoft, here’s what the game is about:
In Assassin’s Creed Mirage, you are Basim, a cunning street thief with nightmarish visions, seeking answers and justice. After an act of deadly retribution, Basim flees Baghdad and joins an ancient organization – The Hidden Ones. As he learns their mysterious rituals and powerful tenets, he will hone his unique abilities, discover his true nature, and come to understand a new Creed – one that will change his fate in ways he never could have imagined.
Unlike the most recent Assassin’s Creed games, AC Mirage’s gameplay was “built as an homage to the first Assassin’s Creed games”.

So there are fewer RPG elements like in AC Valhalla and it’ll feel more like the AC1 and the Ezio trilogy.

Ubisoft says that in Mirage, the series is returning back to a large-scale urban environment filled will rooftops, tall towers and lots of areas of parkour.

Assassins Creed Mirage is launching on October 12th, 2023 for Xbox Series X & S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, PC and Amazon Luna.
The game is up for pre-order now with a Deluxe Edition and Collector’s Case also available.
