Lenovo and its subsidary, Motorola are teaming up for a new smartphone with the all-new ThinkPhone.
The announcement of the Lenovo ThinkPhone by Motorola coincides with the 30th anniversary of the ThinkPad line.

For specs, the ThinkPhone has a 6.6-inch pOLED display (protected by Gorilla Glass Victus) and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor with 8 or 12GB of RAM.

There’s also up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage inside. The battery in the phone is a 5,000 mAh cell which comes with 68W TurboPower wired charging and 15W wireless charging.
For cameras, the ThinkPhone has three lenses, a 50MP main lens, a 13MP ultrawide and a depth sensor. There’s also a 32MP selfie camera.

Other specs of the ThinkPhone include IP68 water and dust resistance, Wi-Fi 6E support, 5G sub-6/4G LTE support, Bluetooth 5.2 and dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.
The frame of the phone is made from a lightweight aramid fibre that Lenovo says is stronger than steel.

For security, the ThinkPhone comes pre-installed with the Moto Secure app which is a software hub for privacy and security on the phone.
The phone also has Moto KeySafe which is a separate processor running on Android that adds an extra layer of security.
On the left side of the phone, there’s the ionic Red Key that can be customized to launch different apps and services on the phone.

Some other features of the ThinkPhone include Instant Connect, Unified Clipboard, Unified Notifications, File Drop, App Streaming, Advanced Webcam and Instant Hotspot.
For software, the ThinkPhone will be running Android 13 out of the box but Lenovo and Motorola haven’t said what the update schedule for the phone will be.
The Lenovo ThinkPhone by Motorola is will be available in the US, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, Australia and select countries in Asia in the coming months.
