OnePlus 11 5G unveiling set for February 7th

OnePlus has announced a new event for February 7th, where they’ll show off their 2023 flagship, the OnePlus 11 5G.

The global launch event which the company calls the “OnePlus Cloud 11 Launch Event” will be held n New Delhi, India.

We’re thrilled to be revealing these exciting new products that bring a levelled up fast and smooth experience to the market,” said Pete Lau, Founder of OnePlus, Senior Vice President and Chief of Product at OPPO and OnePlus. “The OnePlus 11 5G, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2, and other products are driven by our community co-creation spirit and will be equipped with the most advanced technology to provide a refined experience to our users.”

The “Cloud 11” theme of the event represents all the new tech and performance that will be present in the new OnePlus 11 5G phone.

According to OnePlus, this will “elevate the user experience from Cloud 9 to Cloud 11.”

The company has confirmed two things about the OnePlus 11 5G, the first is that it’ll have Hasselblad imaging and also an Alert Slider, which was notably absent from the OnePlus 10T.

Exact specs of the OnePlus 11 5G but it’ll most likely be running the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip (as will a lot of Android flagships).

The upcoming OnePlus phone will be the company’s first with its new software commitment, which includes four generations of OxygenOS and five years of security updates.

The event will also be the launch of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2. The new earbuds should bring “a full-bodied, stereo-quality audio experience with crystal clarity.”

Look out for more about the OnePlus 11 5G in the coming weeks and at launch in February.
