Honda has announced new details about the infotainment system coming to the 2023 Honda Accord.
For the infotainment system Touring trim of the new Accord, Honda has partnered with Google to offer built-in services such as Google Assistant, Google Maps and Google Play.

There will also be Google Cloud’s Speech-to-Text service as well as navigation and live traffic updates by Google.
“Honda incorporates the latest technological advancements to our products, the connected vehicle is essential to integrating services that create an experience Canadian consumers are looking for,” says Steve Hui Assistant Vice President Honda Canada. “The Google built-in features included in the all-new 2023 Honda Accord Hybrid are the latest chapter in our collaboration with Google in providing the connected vehicle enhancements our customers expect.”
Inside the vehicle, the 2023 Accord Touring (which will be the top-trim) has a 10.2-inch digital driver display and 12.3-inch centre touchscreen.

The main infotainment screen included support for wired and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

There’ also a 6-inch heads up display, 15W wireless charger and a 12-speaker Bose premium audio system.
For safety tech, the Accord will include Honda Sensing safety and driver-assistive technology.
The 2023 Accord will also get Over the Air (OTA) software updates for all vehicle computer modules, enhancing functionality and capability.
The Sport and Touring trims of the 2023 Accord use a 2.0-litre inline 4-cylinder Atkinson and two-motor hybrid system while the EX trim uses a 1.5-litre turbocharged inline 4-cylinder.

It’s worth noting that only the top Touring trim will get the Google built-in to the infotainment system.
Canadian pricing for the 2023 Accord but the vehicle will begin to hit Honda dealers in Canada in January.
