Sony has unveiled new details about their upcoming pro controller, the DualSense Edge.
The DualSense Edge is set to be Sony’s answer to Microsoft’s Elite Xbox controller.

In terms of features, the DualSense Edge has swappable stick caps, replaceable stick modules, back triggers with custom button mapping and adjustable trigger stops and dead zones.
There’s also tunable stick sensitivity and dead zones. The controller also still includes adaptive triggers and haptic feedback.
In the box, you’ll get the following:
- DualSense Edge wireless controller
- USB braided cable with lockable connector housing
- 2 Standard caps
- 2 High dome caps
- 2 Low dome caps
- 2 Half dome back buttons
- 2 Lever back buttons
- Connector housing
- Carrying case
In terms of pricing, the DualSense Edge will retail for $269 CAD ($199 USD, ¥29,980 (including tax)/€239.99/£209.99).

Replacable stick modules will cost $24.99 CAD ($19.99 USD/¥2,680 (including tax)/€24.99/£19.99).
Pre-orders for the DualSense Edge start on October 25th in Canada, US, UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
The controller is set to launch on January 26, 2023 with additional markets and retailers on February 23, 2023.
Update – October 25th, 2022: Pre-orders for the DualSense Edge controller and Replaceable Stick Module are now available from these retailers in Canada.
