Apple has made a few announcements including an updated iPad Pro with the M2 chip, a new 10.9-inch entry-level iPad now with USB-C and a updated Apple TV 4K.
iPad (10th Gen / 2022)

Apple’s iPad has been given a new design that is more squared off like the current iPad Air and iPad Pro.
“We’re so excited to bring the completely redesigned iPad to our most advanced iPad lineup ever,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. “With a large 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display, powerful A14 Bionic chip, a first-ever landscape front camera, fast wireless connectivity, USB-C, and support for incredible accessories like the new Magic Keyboard Folio, the new iPad delivers more value, more versatility — and is simply more fun.”
The new iPad has a 10.9-inch Liqud Retina display and is being powered by the A14 Bionic chip.

The iPad will be running iPadOS 16 when it launches.
There’s also a new 12MP Ultra-wide camera that is now landscape oriented and supports Center Stage. The rear camera is also 12MP and can shoot 4K video.
The biggest upgrade to the iPad is the USB-C port, this allows the new iPad to connect to USB-C based accessories and offer faster transfer speeds.
The iPad still supports the Apple Pencil (1st Gen) but since the device has a USB-C port, you’ll need the new USB-C to Lightning adapter that Apple is offering for $10 CAD.

Apple is also introducing a new Magic Keyboard Folio to go alongside the new iPad.

Other specs include Wi-Fi 6, 5G on the cellular models.
Colour options for the iPad include blue, pink, yellow and silver.
The new iPad launches on October 26th, starting at $599 CAD for the Wi-Fi model and $799 CAD for the Wi-Fi & Cellular model.

iPad Pro (2022)

While the entry iPad got a bigger redesign, the iPad Pro has gotten more of a spec bump.
“The next-generation iPad Pro pushes the boundaries of what’s possible on iPad, bringing even more versatility, power, and portability to the ultimate iPad experience,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. “Powered by the M2 chip, the new iPad Pro features incredible performance and the most advanced technologies, including a next-level Apple Pencil hover experience, ProRes video capture, superfast wireless connectivity, and powerful iPadOS 16 features. There’s nothing else like it.”
The iPad Pro (2022) is now being powered by the M2 chip that first launched with the new MacBook Air.

The M2 in the iPad Pro (2022) has a 8-core CPU and 10-core GPU. Apple says the M2 is 15% faster in terms of CPU performance and 35% faster graphics performance over the M1.
With the iPad Pro (2022), you’ll still get Face ID, a Thunderbolt USB-C port and a four-speaker audio system.

With iPadOS 16 on the iPad Pro (2022), you’ll get access to features like Stage Manager, external display support and hover with Apple Pencil (2nd generation).

The iPad Pro (2022) is still being offered in a 11-inch Liqud Retina display and a 12.9-inch Liquid Retina XDR display option.

Colour options for the iPad Pro include space grey and silver.
The new iPad Pro launches on October 26th, starting at $1,099 CAD for the 11-inch and $1,299 CAD for the 12.9-inch.

Apple TV 4K (2022)

Then finally we have the updated Apple TV 4K. The streaming device has been updated with the A15 Bionic chip which brings support for HDR10+ in addition to Dolby Vision.

“Apple TV 4K is the ultimate way for Apple users to enjoy their favourite entertainment on the biggest screen in the home, and now it is more powerful than ever,” said Bob Borchers, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing. “The new Apple TV 4K is unlike anything else out there, given its seamless connection to other Apple devices, ease of use, and access to amazing Apple content. It offers something for everyone in the family to love.”

The Apple TV 4K (2022) still comes with the redesigned Siri remote from the 2021 model but now has a USB-C port for charging.

The device can also be used as a smart home hub with compatible HomeKit products.

There’s also Thread networking support so it can work with Matter products.
The Apple TV 4K (2022) is launching on November 4th for $179 CAD (down from $229 CAD for the 2021 model) for the 64GB/Wi-Fi-only model.

For $199 CAD, there’s a Wi-Fi and Ethernet that supports Gigabit Ethernet and has 128GB of storage.
