At their latest Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung unveiled their latest foldables and wearables with the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Z Flip4 and the Galaxy Watch5 series.
Galaxy Z Fold4
The Galaxy Z Fold4 features a 7.6-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate as the main screen.
For the cover screen, there’s a 6.2-inch HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
Powering the new foldable is the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor with 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.
Battery life on the Z Fold4 is a 4,400 mAh cell that supports Super Fast Charging (25W) to get you 0% to 50% in 30 mins. There’s also wireless charging up to 25W on compatible chargers.
There’s also a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2 and IPX8 water resistance.
Like the Z Fold3, the Fold4 has S Pen support and is sold separately.
For software, the Z Fold4 is running Android 12L with OneUI 4.1.1 on top. As announced previously, the Galaxy Z series will be getting four generations of One UI updates (i.e Android versions) and five years of security updates.
Cameras on the Z Fold4 include a 12MP ultra-wide, 50MP wide angle, 10MP telephoto on the rear. On the front, there’s a 10MP selfie camera on the Cover Screen and a 4MP under display camera on the main display.
Colour options for the phone include Graygreen, Moon Beige and Phantom Black.
Pricing for the Z Fold4 is as follows:

Galaxy Z Flip4
The Galaxy Z Flip4 features a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate as it’s main display.
Meanwhile the Cover Screen is a 1.9-inch Super AMOLED Display.
Powering the new phone is the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor with 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.
Battery should be improved from the Z Flip3 with a new 3,700 mAh cell in the Z Flip4.
Like the Z Fold4, the Z Flip4 supports Super Fast Charging (25W) to get you 0% to 50% in 30 mins. In additions, there’s wireless charging up to 25W on compatible chargers.
For cameras, the Z Flip4 has a 12MP ultra-wide and 12MP wide angle on the rear and a 10MP selfie camera.
There’s also a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2 and IPX8 water resistance.

Galaxy Watch5 series
The Galaxy Watch5 series comes in two models, the Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro.
The Galaxy Watch5 uses a Armor Aluminum Case with Sport Band while the Pro model has a Titanium Case.
Both Galaxy Watch5 models feature a Sapphire Crystal display. The standard Galaxy Watch5 comes a 40mm with 1.2-inch display or 44mm with 1.4-inch display.
The Galaxy Watch5 Pro is only available in 44mm wiht a 1.4-inch display.
Powering the Galaxy Watch5 series is the Exynos W920 processor with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
The Galaxy Watch5 40mm has a 284 mAh battery, while the 44mm has a 410 mAh. The Pro model features a 590 mAh.
All models support Faster Charging that is based on the WPC charging standard.
For software, the Galaxy Watch5 series is running Wear OS 3.5 with OneUI Watch 4.5.
For health sensors, the Galaxy Watch5 series has the Samsung BioActive sensor that includes the Optical Heart Rate, Electrical Heart Signal and Bioelectrical Impedence Analysis.
In addition, there’s a Temperature Sensor, Accelerometer, Barometer, Gyro Sensor, Geomagnetic Sensor and a Light Sensor.
Other specs of the Galaxy Watch5 series include Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS, 5ATM, IP68 and LTE options.
The standard Galaxy Watch5 models comes in Graphite, Silver, Pink Gold, Sapphire (LTE models only) colour options.
The Pro models only comes in Black Titanium and Grey Titanium.

Galaxy Buds Pro2
The Galaxy Buds Pro2 features a similar design to it’s predecessor.
The earbuds feature a custom coaxial 2-way speaker that can provide 24-bit Hi-Fi audio and 360 audio.
There’s also Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) that uses 2 outer mic and 1 inner mic to cancel out noise.
Each earbud has a 61 mAh battery while the case has a 515 mAh battery. This should give you around 5 hours of listening time with ANC on and 8 hours with ANC off.
You’ll also get an additional 29 hours from the charging case.
Other specs include IPX7, Bluetooth 5.3, Samsung Seamless Codec HiFi, AAC, SBC codecs support.
Colour options for the earbuds include Graphite, White and Bora Purple.
