Following an official announcement back at E3 2017, Ubisoft has unveiled that Skull and Bones will launching in November.
The game was originally set to be release in 2018 but development issues caused the game to be delayed multiple times.
According to Ubisoft, the game “is inspired by one of the deadliest periods in history – the end of the 17th century. Considered to be the second Golden Age of Piracy, it sets the stage for a chaotic and ruthless era of pirates, warring factions, powerful organizations and empires all vying for power in the untamed paradise of the Indian Ocean.”
The game will let players to chart their own pirate adventure from starting as an outcast to becoming a pirate kingpin.
You’ll be accepting contrast, gathering resources, navigating trade routes, attaching merchant ships and more in your pirate journey.
Since the game is being touted as a live-service game, Ubisoft has a multi-year post launch plan fr the game with new content, activities, stories and more.
The game was mainly developed by Ubisoft Singapore along with other Ubisoft studios.
Skull and Bones is launching on November 8th for Xbox Seris X & S, PS5, PC (via Epic Game Store and Ubisoft Store), Stadia and Amazon Luna.
