Following a reveal last year, THQ Nordic has a release date for the upcoming remake of Destroy All Humans! 2.
According to the publisher, here’s what the new game is about:
In Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed, a faithful remake of the most acclaimed entry in the fan-favorite Destroy All Humans! franchise, our charming but evil alien invader Crypto (138!) will unleash his large arsenal of weapons onto five huge open-world areas: Bay City, Albion, Takoshima, Tunguska, and the Moon! Players will experience the swinging ‘60s in all its glory and deal with Hippies, the KGB, and many other threats.
Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed will also feature an upgraded flying saucer and jetpack for Crypto to use along with a hoverboard and new weapons to use to cause destruction.
The game was rebuilt from the ground up using Unreal Engine 4 and by the same dev team behind Destroy All Humans! (2020).
The remake will feature a 2-player, split-screen coop-mode.
A Dressed to Skill Edition for $54.99 CAD ($54.99 USD) brings the base game plus Challenge Accepted DLC (launching later this year), a Skin pack and DLC for Clone Carnage.
There will also be a Physical Collector’s Edition for $399 USD but complete details haven’t been announced.
For those that pre-order, you can get the new multiplayer spin-off Clone Carnage that launches today. Clone Carnage is also available for purchase separately for $12.99 CAD ($9.99 USD) for Xbox Series X & S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4 and PC.
