Lenovo has announced a refresh for one of their thinner gaming laptops, the Legion Slim 7 and 7i.
The new Legion Slim 7 and 7i are just 16mm (0.63 inches) thin and weigh 2kg (4.4 lbs) and are made from CNC-machined metal.
The display is 16-inches on both the Intel and AMD versions. The Slim 7i gets a mini-LED 165Hz 2560 x 1600 display option as well as a 240Hz 2560 x 1600 display option and 1920 x 1600 option.
The AMD variant meanwhile gets the 240Hz 2560 x 1600 display, 165Hz 2560 x 1600 or 1920 x 1600 option.
Chipset options include 12th Gen Intel i9-12900HK, i7-12700H and i5-12500H for the Slim 7i. These can be paired with an Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti Laptop, 3060 Laptop or 3070 Laptop for the Slim 7i.
The Slim 7 gets AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX, Ryzen 7 6800H or a Ryzen 5 6600H. The AMD model gets the Radeon RX6800S Graphics 8GB GDDR6 or AMD Radeon RX6600S Graphics 4GB GDDR6 for the GPU.
Memory and storage options include up to 24GB of DDR5 RAM and uo to a 2TB PCIe SSD.
Battery life is 71Whr or 99.99Whr depending on model with Super Rapid Charge over USB-C. An 80 min charge gets you 0 to 100%.
Ports include, two USB Type-C (USB 3.2 Gen 2), a 4-in-1 SD Card Reader, audio jack, E-Shutter switch, DC-in, two USB Type A 3.2 Gen2 and HDMI 2.1.
Other specs include Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E depending on model.
The Lenovo Legion Slim 7i starts at $1,589 USD and ships this month. The Legion 7 starts at $1,519 USD and ship in June.
