Lucid Motors expand their Canadian presence with their new Toronto Studio

Electric vehicle manufacturer, Lucid Motors has officially opened their latest Studio retail store with a new location at Yorkdale Shopping Centre.

“Opening a Studio at the largest shopping destination in Canada will help us elevate the brand in Canada as we continue to expand in North America,” said Zak Edson, Vice President of Sales and Service of Lucid. “We are looking forward to seeing the longest-range EV driving, and charging, on Canadian roads soon.”

This marks the company’s second Canadian location, with the first being in Vancouver and 23rd retail store overall.

Lucid is far from being the first EV manufacture to adopt the retail location model. Most recently, Polestar has opened retail locations.

At each of Lucid’s Studio locations, interested customers can find out more about the company and see their vision for the upcoming Lucid Air vehicle.

The Lucid Air comes in different configurations.

The top of the line, Lucid Air Grand Touring offers 800 hp and 830km of range and MSRP of $191,300 CAD.

The Lucid Air Touring offers 620 hp and 653km of range a price of $131,300 CAD.

Below the Touring model is the Lucid Air Pure that offers 480hp and 653km of range and costs $107,300 CAD.

The Lucid Air supports up to 350kW charging on the Grand Touring and Dream Edition (which costs $229,000 CAD). The Pure and Touring models get up to 150kW charging.

For those interested in purchasing a Lucid Air, you can configure one using their 4K VR configurator that ” combines the physical and virtual worlds to showcase seamless personalization of everything from interior finishes and materials to exterior color.”

For those that do reserve a Lucid Air by June 30th, 2022, you’ll get two years of complimentary charging at any of Electrify Canada’s charging locations.

Reservations for the Lucid Air are available now with Canadian deliveries beginning in the next few months.

An official grand opening for the Lucid Studio Toronto is set for March 26th at 10am EDT.
