Sony has unveiled their true wireless earbuds with the new LinkBuds.
The LinkBuds feature a open ring design that helps you hear the outside world via audio transparency. The earbuds use a 12mm drivers to help produce deliver balanced sound.
At just 4g, the LinkBuds are super lightweight. Even the charging case that gets you 12 additional hours of listening time comes in at 34g.
A 10 mins charge of the earbuds in the case gives you up to 90 mins of listening time.
One cool feature of the earbuds is Wide Area Tap, where you can double or triple tap in front of either of your ears to adjust playback like play/pause, skip etc.
Battery life on the LinkBuds is around 5.5 hours and the earbuds offer IPX4 water resistance.
There’s also Fast Pair support on Android and Swift Pair support on Windows PCs.
The Sony LinkBuds are available for pre-order now for $249 CAD ($179 USD) from the company’s site and authorized retailers.
They’ll start shipping on February 17th. The earbuds come in two colours, Gray and White.
