Customize your PS5 with official faceplates and new DualSense colours

It’s just over a year since the PS5 has launched and Sony has just announced a couple of customization options for the PS5 including official console covers.

Up until this point, if you wanted to have a black PS5, you would need to buy a third-party cover like the one from Dbrand.

The new side panel covers brings a splash of colour to your PS5 console with options including Midnight Black, Cosmic Red, Nova Pink, Starlight Blue, and Galactic Purple.

PS5 Console Covers Colours

These covers will be available for the standard PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition.

In addition to the new PS5 console covers, Sony also unveiled new DualSense colour options including Nova Pink, Starlight Blue, and Galactic Purple.

This is in addition to the Midnight Black and Cosmic Red DualSensen controller that launched earlier this year.

The Midnight Black and Cosmic Red PS5 console covers are launching in January 2022 in Canada, the US, UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Korea, and the Philippines.

The Nova Pink, Galactic Purple, and Starlight Blue PS5 console covers are launching in the first half of 2022 in the same countries above.

For the Nova Pink, Starlight Blue, and Galactic Purple DualSense controllers, they’ll be launching on January 14th on in the US, UK, France, and Germany. Then launch on February 11th in other countries such as Canada.

Canadian pricing for the PS5 console covers is $69.99 CAD ($54.99 USD) and the new DualSense are $94.99 CAD.

Update: Pre-orders for the new Midnight Black and Cosmic Red PS5 console covers for $69.99 CAD and new controller colours are available for $94.99 CAD from Best Buy Canada.
