Following its announcement earlier this year, IKEA and Asus ROG have officially launched their gaming furniture collection.
As mentioned previously, IKEA’s new gamer-focused furniture consists of a few product lines: HUVUDSPELARE, UTESPELARE, MATCHSPEL, UPPSPEL, and LÅNESPELARE.
The UPPSPEL products were designed by Asus ROG and IKEA, with the rest of the product lines by IKEA themselves.
The UPPSPEL consists of a few products including a motorized standing desk, drawer unit, computer stand with wheels, glass-door cabinet, and pegboard.
The UPPSPEL gaming desk starts at $679 CAD, the pegboard is $23.99 CAD, the drawer unit is $149 CAD, the computer stand is $19.99 CAD and the glass-door cabinet is $99 CAD.
The UTESPELARE line consists of a gaming chair with a quilted back and a mesh pocket on the back and a standard gaming desk. The chair and desk each cost $149 CAD or $298 CAD bundled together.
With the MATCHSPEL, we have a gaming chair that is reminiscent of IKEA’s previous Markus and Järvfjället chairs.
The MATCHSPEL gaming chair retails for $269 CAD.
The HUVUDSPELARE lineup just has the one gaming chair that retails for $69 CAD.

The LÅNESPELARE line features desk accessories like a cup holder that attaches to your desk, a ring light & phone holder, a neck pillow.
The ring light & phone holder costs $29 CAD, the neck pillow is $11.99 CAD, the multi-functional cushion/blanket is $29 CAD, the gaming mousepad is $19–$29 CAD depending on size, the cup holder is $11.99 CAD and the mouse bungee is $14.99 CAD.
Most of IKEA’s gaming lineup should be available online and in-store. While some products like the UPPSPEL gaming desk should be available sometime in November.
