After what seems like an eternity and a leak, Sony has officially released the first teaser trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Following the events of Far From Home, Spider-Man: No Way Home has Peter dealing with the aftermath of his identity being revealed by Mysterio to the world via J. Jonah Jameson (with J.K. Simmons reprising his role from the Raimi films).
This leads to Peter going to Doctor Strange for help to fix this mess. As you can tell by the teaser, things don’t going according to plan and the multiverse gets opened up bringing other Spidey villains like Doc Ock (played by Alfred Molina), Electro (played by Jamie Foxx).
The events of No Way Home should lead into, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which hits theatres on March 25, 2022.

Sony hasn’t confirmed if Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will be reprising this role but most likely, this will focus on Tom Holland’s version of Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the MCU & Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters (SPUMC).
Tom Holland, Zendaya and Jacob Batalon all reprise their respective roles along with Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Stephen Strange. Jon Watts has also returned as director of the film.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to hit theatres on December 17th, 2021.
