OnePlus has unveiled its latest audio product with the OnePlus Buds Pro.
OnePlus founder Pete Lau said, “OnePlus has always been committed to delivering the best user experience possible with technology. We’ve challenged the smartphone industry with our premium devices, and now we are applying our Never Settle approach to portable audio with the OnePlus Buds Pro. This is our next step in creating a truly seamlessly connected experience for our users.”
The earbuds have two large dynamic 11mm drivers with Dolby Atmos. The OnePlus Buds Pro have a smart adaptive noise cancellation system (ANC) that will automatically filter out unwanted sound frequencies (up to 40dB) in real time.
The buds have a feature called OnePlus Audio ID, which is a sound profile that can be tuned by the user, basically the earbuds’ EQ settings.
Battery life is up to 38 hours with the charging case. The earbuds can get 10 hours of listening time in just 10 mins. There’s also OnePlus’ Warp Charge and Qi wireless charging.
Other features of the Buds Pro include Bluetooth 5.2 and a low-latency mode.
The OnePlus Buds Pro launch in Canada and the US for $149 USD on September 1st. The earbuds will be available in black and white colour options.
