Accessory maker, Mophie has announced a new lineup of magetic wireless charging accessessories that works with Apple’s MagSafe and Android phones.
“The snap ecosystem from mophie really improves the wireless charging experience,” said Charlie Quong, vice president of product development at mophie. “The snap accessories align with the MagSafe feature of the iPhone 12, making charging a snap every time. The snap ecosystem also brings the magnetic mounting function to other Qi-charging smartphones, including older iPhone models, Samsung Galaxy, and more via the snap adapter included with all snap accessories.”
The Snap collection includes:
Snap Vent Mount ($29.95 USD) – It allows you to keep your iPhone 12 or other phone at the right position while driving.
Snap+ Wireless Vent Mount ($49.95 USD) – This is like the regular vent mount but adds 15W wireless charging and a 20W USB-C car charger.
Snap+ Wireless Charger ($34.95 USD) – This charger is basically Mophie’s take on Apple’s MagSafe charger with a magnetic Qi pad on one and USB-C on the other. It provides up to 15W of power on Android and 7.5W on iPhone.
Snap+ Juice Pack Mini ($49.95 USD) – You can quickly charge your phone with this 5,000 mA battery pack. The USB-C port can be used to recharge the battery pack or charge another device.
Snap+ Wireless Stand ($59.95 USD) – The stand can provide 7.5W charging speeds to iPhone and 15W to other smartphones.
Snap+ Powerstation Stand ($69.95 USD) – The Powerstation Stand combines a 10,000 mAh battery with an adjustable stand to charge your phone while watching videos. There’s also a 1/4 inch socket so you can mount it on a tripod during video calls.
To get the Mophie Snap system to work with other Qi-enabled smartphones like Samsung, Google Pixel phones, each of the products comes with a Snap adapter ring in the box.
Additional Snap Adapters are available in a two-pack for $19.95 USD. All the Snap accessories work through lightweight cases, no thicker than 3mm.
The Snap+ Wireless Charger, Snap Vent Mount, Snap+ Wireless Vent Mount, Snap+ Juice Pack Mini and additional Snap Adapters are available now from Mophie’s website.
The Snap+ Wireless Stand and Snap+ Powerstation Stand are launching later in this summer.
