The Apple TV app is now available on Nvidia Shield

Nvidia has announced that the Apple TV app is now available for their Shield TV devices.

Using the Apple TV app, you can watch a number of Apple TV+ Originals such as Ted Lasso, Central Park (both of which I highly recommend), For All Mankind and many more.

All fo the Apple TV+ Originals support 4K, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, which the 2019 Shield TVs support.

The Apple TV works with the Google Assistant on Shield, so you can have hands-free voice control.

In addition to the original content, you can access your library of movies and TV shows purchased from Apple (i.e iTunes) in up to 4K resolution.

The Apple TV app joins a number of streaming apps and service already available on Nvidia Shield like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ and many more.

Apple TV+ costs $5.99 CAD per month with a 7-day free trial. If you buy a new Apple device (iPhone, Mac, iPad etc), you’ll get one year free of the service.

To get the Apple TV app on your Nvidia Shield and other Android TV devices, just download it from Google Play.
