Asus’ latest ROG Zephyrus laptops have 11th Gen Intel H-series and Nvidia 30-series GPUs

Asus has unveiled two new ROG laptops with the Zephyrus S17 and Zephyrus M16.

ROG Zephyrus S17 (2021)

The Zephyrus S17 is the more premium offering in Asus’ ROG lineup with a rising optical-mechanical keyboard and a new design compared to last year’s model.

The keyboard lifts up at a 5-degree angle for improved typing comfort, while also opening wide vents for better airflow.

The Zephyrus S17 has a 17.3-inch screen with either a QHD display at 165Hz or a UHD display at 120Hz. Both display options offer DCI-P3 100% and Pantone Validated.

Powering the laptop is the new 11th Gen Intel H-Series processors along with up to 8 or 16GB of onboard RAM but supports up to 48GB of RAM.

GPU options include the Nvidia RTX 3060, 3070 or 3080 cards. Storage options include up to a 2TB SSD that supports RAID 0.

The battery is a 90 Wh cell with a 280W power adapter and supports USB-C Power Delivery 3.0 up to 100W, there’s also Wi-Fi 6 support and Bluetooth 5.2.

Asus says the new Zephyrus S17 will be launching in late Q2 in North America but pricing hasn’t been announced.

ROG Zephyrus M16

Below the S17 is the new Zephyrus M16, which is essentially a revamped version of the M15.

The M16 features a 16-inch WQHD display in a 15-inch chassis. Powering the laptop is the 11th Gen Intel Core H-Series processors along with up to an Nvidia RTX 3070 GPU.
