Amazon has refreshed their Fire HD 10 with three new models, the Fire HD 10, Fire HD 10 Kids Edition and Fire Kids Pro.

The new Fire HD 10 is brighter, thinner, and lighter, with an octa-core processor for fast and responsive performance, 50% more RAM, and all-day battery life—and is still only $199.99,” said Kevin Keith, vice president, Amazon Devices. “Plus, we added new apps, features, and accessories, including a Productivity Bundle with the Fire HD 10, a Microsoft 365 Personal subscription, and a detachable keyboard case, to help you get more done.”
Fire HD 10

The new Fire HD 10 tablet brings a 10.1-inch 1080p Full HD display with thinner bezels and lighter than before.

The tablet is powered by an octa-core 2.0 GHz processor with 3GB of RAM along with 32 or 64GB of storage with a microSD card slot.

You can expect up to 12 hours of battery life and you can make video calls using the 2MP front-facing camera. There are also Dolby Atmos speakers and come in Black and Blue colour options.
The new Fire HD 10 tablet launches on May 26th for $199 CAD for the 32GB and $239 CAD for the 64GB.

Amazon is also offering a Fire HD 10 Productivity Bundle starting at $279 CAD, it includes the tablet, a custom-designed, detachable keyboard case by Fintie and a 12-month subscription to Microsoft 365 Personal.

Fire HD 10 Kids Edition

In addition to the new Fire HD 10, there’s also a Kids Edition.
It has the same specs as the Fire HD 10 but comes with a kid-proof case, which comes in colours like Sky Blue and Lavender.
It also includes a two-year worry-free guarantee and a year of Amazon Kids+, which gives you unlimited access to over 20,000 books, movies, TV shows, Audible books, educational apps, and games.
The Fire HD 10 Kid Edition was designed for kids aged 3 to 7.
The new Fire HD 10 Kid Edition is available for pre-order today and ships May 26th and costs $259 CAD.
Fire Kids Pro
The last model announced today was the Fire Kids Pro.
The Fire Kids Pro comes in three screen sizes, 7, 8 and 10-inches. Just like the other Kids Edition, the Fire Kids Pro models come with a kid-proof case.
Specs include a quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16 or 32GB of storage plus a microSD card slot. It also gets up to 7 hours of battery life and charges over micro-USB.

All the Fire Kids Pro tablets come with a two-year worry-free guarantee and a year of Amazon Kids+, which gives you unlimited access to over 20,000 books, movies, TV shows, Audible books, educational apps, and games.
The Fire 7 Kids Pro costs $129 CAD, the Fire HD 8 Kid Pro at $179 CAD and the Fire HD 10 Kids Pro is $259 CAD.
