LG Canada has launched the 2021 models of their Gram laptops with new 16-inch and 2-in-1 versions.
There are four models this year with the LG Gram 14 (14Z90P), Gram 16 (16Z90P), Gram 16 2-in-1 (16T90P) and Gram 17 (17Z90P).
“More and more Canadians are looking for products that support their flexible lifestyles,” says Andrew Chlebus, Vice President of Business Solutions, LG Electronics Canada. “The LG gram’s ultra-lightweight design, high-resolution 16:10 aspect ratio display, long battery life and durable build creates ultimate portability enabling a seamless transition from work to entertainment.”
All four models of the updated LG Gram laptops are powered by 11th Gen Intel processors (up to an i7), 16GB of RAM and Iris Xe Graphics.
The entire lineup uses 16:10 WQXGA displays which have a 2560 x 1600 resolution. The new Gram 16 2-in-1 has a 360-hinge and a touchscreen with stylus support (compatible with Wacom AES 2.0).
The new Gram 14 offers a 72Wh battery, which is good for up to 25.5 hrs of usage. The rest of the models have an 80Wh battery, good for between 19.5 hrs to 22 hrs (depending on the model).
For ports, the Gram 16 2-in-1 has two USB 4 Gen 2 (with Thunderbolt 4 and USB PD support), one USB 3.2 Gen 2, microSD and a headphone jack. The rest of the lineup has the same ports plus HDMI.
Other features of the 2021 LG Gram laptops include a fingerprint reader, Wi-Fi 6 and US Military Standard 810G Compliance durability.
Colour options include Quartz Silver, Obsidian Black.
Customers that buy any of the 2021 Gram laptops at launch will get a promotional bundle valued at $500 CAD.
The bundle includes a $100 gift card to Crave, Microsoft Office Home & Student 2019 and a three-year manufacturer’s extended warranty (in addition to the one-year standard warranty).

The Gram 14, 16 and 17 will be launching later this month (depending on retailer and model). The Gram 16 2-in-1 launches in the spring with pricing to be announced closer to launch.
