Activision has announced that everyone’s favourite marsupial, Crash’s latest adventure is coming to next-gen consoles, Switch and PC this March.
The game originally launched back in October last year for Xbox One and PS4 but will now be coming to Xbox Series X & S, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch.
Crash 4 developer, Toys for Bob has been working on next-gen enhancement for the game including getting it to run at 4K 60fps on Xbox Series X & S and PS5.
There’s also faster load times, 3D audio for the next-gen version of Crash 4. For the PS5 edition of the game, Crash 4 takes advantage of DualSense’s adaptive triggers “to feel the force of Neo Cortex’s DNA-changing blaster and experience the grip as they grapple with Tawna’s Hookshot.”
If you already own Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time on Xbox One or PS4, you’ll be able to get the next-gen upgrade for free (except in Japan).
Bringing the game to next-gen consoles is just one part of Activision’s plans for Crash’s 25th anniversary.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will hit Xbox Series X & S, PS5, Switch and PC (via Battle.net) on March 12th. Pre-orders are available now.
