Lucasfilm Games, Bethesda Softworks and MachineGames jointly announced that they’re working on a new Indiana Jones game.
According to a blog post on StarWars.com, “The game will tell a wholly original, standalone tale set at the height of the career of the famed adventurer.”
The new title will be executive produced by Todd Howard in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games.
Lucasfilm Games was recently revived as the new brand identity for all future games based on their franchises, such as Star Wars (which EA has the license to until 2023). The last time the Lucasfilm Games moniker was from 1982–1990.
The last original Indiana Jones game was a Facebook game in 2011. Before that, it was Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings in 2009.
No platforms or release window have been announced. The new game launch on Xbox Series X & S, PS5 and PC.
