Samsung has officially announced its first Galaxy Unpacked event for this year.
According to the invite, Samsung “will unveil its latest Galaxy innovations during its global virtual live event.”
While the Galaxy S21 series has already been leaked (just like years past), rumours are suggesting we’ll also see the Galaxy SmartTag and Galaxy Buds Pro at the event.
The Galaxy Bud Pro will have Active Noise Cancelling (similar to the Galaxy Buds Live), 3 mics, IPX7, 8hrs of playtime with 28hs from the case. They’ll come in purple, white and black colour options.
The Galaxy SmartTag is basically Samsung’s answer to the Tile Bluetooth trackers and most likely offer some exclusive functionality with Galaxy phones.
Current rumours are suggesting that the S21 series will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 processor, have flat 120Hz displays and similar screen sizes to the S20 family.
The major changes for the S21 series will be in the cameras and slightly bigger batteries. A previous rumour indicated that the S21 Ultra will have S Pen support.
And WinFuture has obtained official images of the upcoming case that can hold the S Pen for the S21 Ultra.
You can tune in to the Galaxy Unpacked Event from Samsung’s website and their YouTube channel at 10am ET on January 14th.
