Disney has released the first trailer for Marvel Studios’ WandaVision.
According to Disney,
The series is a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision—two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.
The show takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame and features Elizabeth Olsen reprising her role as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlett Witch and Paul Bettany as Vision. Alongside Olsen and Bettany, the show starsTeyonah Parris as an adult version of Monica Rambeau, Kathryn Hahn, Randall Park, and Kat Dennings.
WandaVision is created and executive produced by Jac Schaeffer, who was a co-writer on Captain Marvel, and Black Widow.
The series is just one of a few Marvel shows coming to Disney+ as part of the MCU’s Phase 4, alongside The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki.
WandaVision will be a limited series consisting of six episodes and scheduled to premiere on January 15 (previous rumours suggested December).
