Back in January, Lenovo showed off the first foldable PC, the ThinkPad X1 Fold and now it’s available for pre-order.
ThinkPad X1 Fold
The foldable PC uses a 13.3-inch QXGA OLED screen that was made by LG Display.
Powering the foldable is Intel Core Processor with Intel Hybrid Technology. This a new set of chips that are designed to be small enough to fit new PC form factors like the ThinkPad X1 Fold.

There’s also Intel UHD 11th Gen Graphics, 8GB of RAM and up to a 1TB SSD.

Battery life is around 11 hours from the 50Wh cell and there’s a USB-C 65W charger that supports Rapid Charge.

For cameras, the ThinkPad X1 Fold has a 5MP HD RGB and an IR camera for Windows Hello. There’s also WiFi 6 support and two USB-C ports, one Gen 1 and one Gen 2.

The ThinkPad X1 Fold weighs around 999g (2.2lbs) with its folio cover. The Lenovo Active Pen and a Bluetooth Lenovo Fold Mini Keyboard are sold separately.
The ThinkPad X1 Fold is available for pre-order from Lenovo’s website for $3,369 CAD ($2,499 USD) and ships later this year.
ThinkPad X1 Nano

The ThinkPad X1 Nano is the company’s lightest ThinkPad ever, coming in at just 962g (2.12lbs). It has a 13-inch 2K screen that comes in touch and non-touch options.

Powering the laptop is up to 11th Gen Core i7, 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM and a 1TB SSD. There’s also a 48 Wh battery that offers up to 17.3 hours of usage and charges over USB-C.

The webcam on the ThinkPad X1 Nano is RGB and has an IR camera for Windows Hello.

For ports, the laptop has a 2 Thunderbolt 4 and a headphone jack. There’s also WiFI 6 support.
The ThinkPad X1 Nano will be launching in Q4 2020 and start at $1,889 CAD ($1,399 USD).
Canadian pricing and availability for the ThinkPad X1 Nano is to be confirmed.
