Dell has updated their XPS 13 and XPS 13 2-in-1, now with 11th Gen Intel processors and Intel Xe graphics.

It’s been a couple of months since Dell introduced their refreshed XPS 13 laptop for 2020. And now they’re giving the laptop a spec update.

The new XPS 13 (9310) has a 13.4-inch InfinityEdge display that supports Dolby Vision and comes in FHD+ or 4K resolution. Processor options include up to 11th Gen Intel i7-1185G7 and up to 32GB of RAM.

For graphics, the laptop has Intel Iris Xe GPU and for storage, you can get the XPS 13 with up to a 2TB SSD. There’s also Wi-Fi 6 support.

Ports include two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, a headphone jack and a microSD card slot. Dell does include a USB-C to USB-A adapter in the box.

Colour options for the new XPS 13 include Platinum Silver and Arctic White.

The XPS 13 (9310) is launching on October 1st in Canada and the US and starts at $1,349 CAD ($999 USD).

XPS 13 2-in-1 (9310 2n1)

Last year, Dell gave the XPS 13 2-in-1 an overhaul and now it’s getting an update internally.

The XPS 13 2-in-1 takes inspiration from the XPS 13 and has a 13.4-inch InfinityEdge display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and has the 2.25mm webcam at the top of the display.

The XPS 13 2-in-1 can be optioned with a Full HD+ touch display or a 4K Ultra HD+ touch display.

The laptop is powered by 11th Gen Intel processors (up to an Intel Core i7-1165G7) and up to 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. For graphics, the laptop has Intel Iris Xe GPU and for storage, you can get the XPS 13 2-in-1.

Ports on the XPS 13 2-in-1 include two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, a microSD card slot, a headphone jack and a USB-C to USB-A adapter is included the box.

Update – September 29th, 2020: The Tiger Lake refreshes of the XPS 13 and XPS 13 2-in-1 will now be releasing on October 1st (a day later). This article has been updated to reflect that.
