HP has made a couple of announcements including new GPU options for their OMEN 30L and new accessories.
OMEN 30L Desktop with Nvidia RTX 30 Series
The OMEN 30L desktop was originally announced back in May alongside the smaller OMEN 25L.
The OMEN 30L has an RGB LED front logo, tempered-glass front bezel, 15mm rubber feet, liquid-cooled CPU, EMI-coated glass side door, internal RGB, enhanced thermal and 120mm front RGB system fan.
“It’s incredibly important to deliver the best gaming experience possible,” said Matt Wuebbling, vice president of global GeForce marketing at NVIDIA. “Which is why we’re thrilled that HP is adding NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 30 Series GPUs to the OMEN 30L Desktop – bringing amazing performance and 2nd get RTX to gamers across the world.”
The OMEN Gaming Desktop can be configured up to an Intel Core i9-10900K (with optional Wi-Fi 6) or up to an AMD Ryzen 9 3900 processor.
For ports, the OMEN desktop has the following:
- 6 SuperSpeed USB Type-A at 5 Gbps
- Headphone/mic jack
- 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-A at 10 Gbps
- 1 SuperSpeed USB-C at 10 Gbps
- HDMI
- DisplayPort
- DVI-D
Since the Nvidia RTX 30 series graphic cards were just announced, HP is adding more GPU options to the OMEN 30L. It can now be configured with an Nvidia RTX 3070, 3080 or 3090 GPU.
The Nvidia RTX 30 series offers 2nd Gen RTX Ray Tracing and uses Nvidia’s Ampere Architecture.
The OMEN 30L Desktop with RTX 30 series is coming this holiday. Pricing hasn’t been announced for the RTX 30 models. Canadian pricing to be confirmed.
The OMEN 30L starts at $2,999 CAD and the smaller OMEN 25L starts at $1,899 CAD.
OMEN Frequency Wireless Headset
The OMEN Frequency Wireless Headset is designed for a lag-free audio experience. The headset has up to 30 hours of battery life and charges over USB-C.
There’s also an environmental noise-cancelling microphone. The headset can be used with devices beyond a PC via a wired connection.
The OMEN Frequency Wireless Headset is launching in December for $169 USD. Canadian pricing to be confirmed.
OMEN Vector Wireless Mouse
The OMEN Vector Wireless Mouse is “the world’s fastest USB-C charging gaming mouse” and offers up to 180 hours of battery life. In just 5 mins of charging, you can get 10 hours of battery life.
The mouse offers 99% accuracy tracking, 16000 dpi and 400 IPS tracking speed.

OMEN Spacer Wireless TLK Keyboard
If you need a keyboard to go with your new mouse, HP has you covered with the new OMEN Spacer Wireless TLK Keyboard.
The keyboard uses MX Cherry Brown switches which are quiet but also feel tactile. Battery life is up to 75 hours with the backlight off and 15 hours with it on.
It charges over USB-C and you’ll get 6 hours of battery life in just 5 minutes.
The OMEN Spacer Wireless TLK Keyboard also offers 128-Bit Encryption, so you’re protected against cyber-thieves that log keystrokes.
