Lenovo has made a couple of announcements, including the new Smart Clock Essential, Yoga 9 Series and Legion Slim 7i and more.

Yoga Slim 9i/IdeaPad Slim 9i

Lenovo Yoga Slim 9i

The Yoga 9i isn’t the only Yoga laptop coming, Lenovo also announced the Yoga Slim 9i but it’ll be called the IdeaPad Slim 9i in North America.

The Yoga Slim 9i uses next-gen Intel Core processors (soon to be announced as 11th Gen Intel) and graphics based on Intel Xe architecture.

The 14-inch screen can be optioned up to 4K resolution and comes with support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

It can be configured with up to 16GB of RAM and 2TB PCIe SSD and comes with Wi-Fi 6 support.

Just like the Yoga 9i (14-inch, the has an Ultrasonic Fingerprint Reader under the glass trackpad that even works with damp fingers. There’s also an IR camera for Windows Hello.

Lenovo Yoga Slim 9i

Battery life is around 20 hours on the FHD model and there’s Rapid Charge Express support. There will also be 3 Thunderbolt 4 ports on the laptop.

The Yoga Slim 9i/IdeaPad Slim 9i is launching in November with a starting price of $1,599 USD.

Legion Slim 7i (15-inch)

For gamers, Lenovo has you covered with the new Legion Slim 7i.

Lenovo claims the Legion Slim 7i is the “world’s lightest RTX-enabled gaming laptop” with it weighing just 1.8kg (3.96lbs). The 15-inch screen can be optioned with either FHD or 4K resolution.

Powering the laptop is the 10th Gen Intel H series processor with up to an i9-10980HK with up to 32GB of RAM. For GPUs, you have the option of up to an Nvidia 2060 Max-Q.

It can be configured with up to a 2TB M.2 NVMe SSD. The 71 WHr battery supports Rapid Charge Pro. There’s also Wi-Fi 6 support and Dolby Atmos speakers.

For ports, the Legion Slim 7i has an SD card reader, audio jack, 2 Thunderbolt 3, 2 USB 3.2 Gen 2 and power-in.

The Legion Slim 7i starts shipping in October for $1,329 USD.

Yoga 9i

In terms of laptops, Lenovo has a few new premium devices for the fall, the first is their new Yoga 9i.

The Yoga 9i comes in 14 and 15-inch screen sizes, both with a 4K IPS touch option.

Powering 14-inch Yoga 9i is the next-gen Intel Core processors (to be announced soon) and graphics based on Intel Xe architecture. The 14-inch will also have two Thunderbolt 4 ports.

The 15-inch version uses 10th Gen Intel HK-series and up to Nvidia GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q. It will also have two Thunderbolt 3 ports.

Both can be configured with up to 16GB of RAM and 2TB PCIe SSD and have Wi-Fi 6 support.

The 14-inch Yoga 9i can be optioned with an all-metal chassis in warm Mica Hue or with a Shadow Black precision-drilled metal bonded to authentic leather cover.

The leather model has a hidden Ultrasonic Fingerprint Reader under the glass trackpad that even works with damp fingers.

The 15-inch will only be available with an all-metal and Slate Grey colour combo.

Battery life is expected at up to 18 hours on the 14-inch and up to 13 hours on the 15-inch. There’s also Rapid Charge Express to quickly charge the laptop.

The Yoga 9i will be launching in October, starting at $1,399 USD for the metal 14-inch and $1,699 USD for the leather 14-inch. The 15-inch will start at $1,799 USD.

Smart Clock Essential

The new Smart Clock Essential is basically Google and Lenovo’s answer to the Echo Dot with Clock.

While the original Lenovo Smart Clock has a screen, this new version doesn’t. It does feature an easy-to-read LED display (with a built-in night light) that shows info like weather, alarms and more.

And since it has the Google Assistant built-in, you can control your smart home devices or just ask Google any question you’d like. There’s also a 3W speaker along with Bluetooth 5.0 and a 2-mic array.

The top of the device has volume buttons, play and alarm buttons. The back of the device is where you’ll find the USB-A port, mic mute switch and power port.

The Lenovo Smart Clock Essential is launching in October for $69.99 CAD ($49.99 USD).

Tab P11 Pro

Lenovo Tab P11 Pro

If you’re more into Android tablets, Lenovo has got you covered with the new Tab P11 Pro.

The device features an 11.5-inch 2K OLED display with HDR10 and Dolby Vision support along with four JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos.

Powering the Tab P11 Pro is the Snapdragon 730 processor and up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage with a microSD card slot. Battery life is up to 15 hours.

For cameras, the Tab P11 Pro has a 13MP auto-focus lens and a 5MP fixed-focus lens and dual 8MP lens on the front. The tablet is running Android 10 and has a USB-C port.

While in the box, you’ll only get the tablet itself, Lenovo will be selling accessories such as a folio case, keyboard, charging station and Precision Pen 2.

The Tab P11 Pro is set to launch in November for $499 USD.
