Polestar has announced where their retail locations will be opening later this year.
The Canadian Polestar Spaces locations are in collaboration with automotive retail groups, Grand Touring Automobiles and GAIN Group.
“95 percent of Canadian Polestar owners and reservation holders live within the 240-kilometre home delivery range of these Polestar retail Spaces,” said Hugues Bissonnette, Head of Polestar Canada. “With this coverage, plus the two additional service centres, we are confident that the Canadian market will be well-supported from day one.”
The first three Polestar Spaces locations in Canada will be:
- Toronto, ON – 55 Avenue Rd, in the city’s Yorkville area
- Montreal, QC – 1255 boulevard René Levesque, in downtown Montreal
- Vancouver, BC – 827 Seymour Street, in Vancouver’s business district
All three of the locations are set to open in the fall. Polestar will also be opening service centres in Victoria, BC and Waterloo, ON.

The company will be offering a home delivery and service program for all their models for a “seamless customer journey” for customers that live within 240 KM of a Polestar Space or Service Centre.
The brand’s first all-electric vehicle, the Polestar 2 has two electric motors and a 78 kWh battery with a range of up to around 500 km. There is also an all-wheel-drive electric powertrain that produces 300 kW (about 408 hp) and 600 Nm (487 lb-ft).
The vehicle’s infotainment system uses Android Automotive (which is different than the phone-based Android Auto).
The 2021 Polestar 2 will start at $69,900 CAD ($59,900 USD) for the Launch Edition.
You can order your Polestar 2 from the company’s website with a $1,500 CAD (fully refundable) deposit. Estimated deliveries are currently set for November 2020 if ordered today.
First deliveries of the Polestar 2 in Canada is set to begin in Canada.
