Since launching in the US last year, Google is launching its Play Pass subscription service in nine countries including Canada.
Google Play Pass is very similar to Apple Arcade, where you can pay a monthly fee and get access to hundreds of games without ads or in-app purchases.
The only difference with Google’s version is that is also includes paid apps in addition to games.
New apps and games are being added to Play Pass each month including Sonic the Hedgehog, Golf Peaks, Teslagrad, Forgotton Anne, and Sally’s Law.
Google has also added kid-friendly apps and games from Sesame Workshop, Learny Land and more.
The company said that a couple of new titles will premiere on Play Pass later this year such as The Almost Gone from Playdigious, The Gardens Between and Kingdom Rush.
Play Pass is coming to Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Spain and the United Kingdom this week.
To get started with Play Pass, just open the Google Play Store app and click on Play Pass. It may not appear yet as it’s still rolling out this week.
It’ll cost $5.99 CAD per month for $39.99 CAD per year. For those in the US, you’ll get the option for a yearly subscription for $29.99 USD.
Play Pass also supports Family Link, so you can share your subscription with up to five other family members.
