Google’s 2nd Gen Pixel Buds now available in Canada

After being announced last year, Google has finally released its 2nd Generation Pixel Buds in Canada.

The new Pixel Buds have 5 hours of listening time and 24 hours additional from the charging case.

The Pixel Buds’ charging case has a USB-C port and wireless charging support. Within 10 minutes of charging the case, it gets you two hours of listening time.

The earbuds have a 12mm dynamic speaker drivers, dual beam-forming microphones to help isolate sound. These earbuds don’t active noise cancellation but noise isolation like Jabra’s Elite 75t earbuds.

The main selling feature of the new Pixel Buds is the ability to talk to the Google Assistant hands-free.

In addition to Canada, the new Pixel Buds are going on sale today in Australia, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Singapore, Spain, and the UK.

The new Pixel Buds are available in a few colours including Clearly White, Oh So Orange, Quite Mint and Almost Black. Colours will vary by country but Canada will be getting all colours except for Orange.

The 2nd Gen Pixel Buds are available from the Google Store for $239 CAD with the Clearly White option shipping now and other colours shipping in August.

The earbuds will also be available from Best BuyStaplesWIRELESS WAVETbooth wireless and TELUS.
