Premium audio maker, Klipsch has announced three new true wireless earbuds including a McLaren branded version.
Back in December 2019, Klipsch announced their partnership with McLaren Racing to become their Official Headphone and Portable Audio Partner for McLaren’s Formula 1 team.
T5 II True Wireless Sport McLaren Edition Earphones
Klipsch says their McLaren Edition of their new T5 II True Wireless Sport was designed for “extreme performance” while also staying dry. The earbuds have IP67 water and dust resistant with a moisture removal system.
In the box, you’ll get six pairs of ear tips, one pair of Comply memory foam ear tips and three sizes of ear wings for a more secure fit. There’s also a special edition brand book and serialized metal card of authenticity.
The case holds up to 32 hours of battery life charges over USB-C or wirelessly with a Qi charging pad (which the T5 II True Wireless Sport McLaren Edition Earphones comes with). The earbuds themselves last around 8 hours.
An anodized metal signal-boost exterior antenna is used for an improved and more stable connection to your phone. The T5 II True Wireless Sport McLaren Edition Earphones have best-in-class acoustic performance along with four beamforming microphones with clear voice chat.
The T5 II True Wireless Sport McLaren Edition Earphones come in McLaren’s hallmark Papaya Orange colour with carbon fibre accents.
The Klipsch T5 II True Wireless Sport McLaren Edition Earphones will retail for $249 USD and start shipping in the coming weeks. Canadian pricing to be confirmed.
T5 II True Wireless Sport
The company also announced the T5 II True Wireless Sport, which has the same features as the McLaren Edition but comes in black, white and green and no wireless charger is included.

T5 II True Wireless earphones
The T5 II True Wireless earphones are the second-gen version of their T5 wireless earbuds. The new version is 25% smaller and more closely mimics the shape of the ear for better comfort.
Just like the sport models, the T5 II True Wireless earphones have a signal boot antenna for high-quality and seamless Bluetooth connectivity.
The earbuds are IP67 water and dust resistant and the battery lasts around 8 hours with 32 hours additional from the charging case.
The T5 II True Wireless earphones will retail for $199 USD and come in black and silver colour options.
