Frontier Developments has announced that they’ll be bringing their coaster park simulation game to Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.
Planet Coaster: Console Edition was originally announced back at Microsoft’s X019 London event back in November. The game was previously set for a Summer 2020 release but now has been pushed back.
Planet Coaster originally launched for PC in 2016 and is the spiritual successor to games like RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 and the Thrillville series.
According to Frontier, “Planet Coaster: Console Edition brings to life the fun and excitement of designing and running a theme park, offering all the depth, strategy, and customization found in the beloved PC game and allowing players to create and manage the ultimate coaster park as they strive for success.”
You can create a living, breathing world in Planet Coaster with jaw-dropping rollercoasters that define the laws of physics and create the park of your dreams.
Planet Coaster: Console Edition is launching in Holiday 2020 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5.
No word if the Xbox versions of Planet Coaster will support Smart Delivery.
The PC version of Planet Coaster is available now on Steam.
