After being announced at E3 2019, THQNordic has unveiled a release date for their remake of Destroy All Humans!
According to THQ Nordic:
The cult-classic returns! Terrorize the people of 1950s Earth in the role of the evil alien Crypto-137,” according to the product description. “Harvest their DNA and bring down the US government in the faithful remake of the legendary alien invasion action-adventure. Annihilate puny humans using an assortment of alien weaponry and psychic abilities. Reduce their cities to rubble with your flying Saucer! One giant step on mankind!
The upcoming remake was done by German-based developer, Black Forest Games. The game will let players use the Abducto Beam to throw tanks around, psychokinesis powers to crush a farmer under his own cow and much more.
The game will be built from the ground up using the Unreal Engine 4 and will also include a restored, much-rumoured and never before seen content called Lost Mission of Area 42.
The standard edition of the game will cost $39.99 CAD but THQNordic will be offering two collector’s editions.
The DNA Collector’s Edition costs $139 CAD comes with:
- A Crypto’N’Cow figurine, keychain,
- Six lithographs,
- Anti-stress toy,
- All in-game Crypto skins

The Destroy All Humans! remake launches on July 28th, 2020 (just a month after the 15th anniversary of the original game on June 21st, 2005) for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
The game will also be coming to Google Stadia but we’ve reached out to THQNordic to confirm the release date.
