Bell Media has announced that its streaming service Crave is now available on Roku devices.
“Our team has been working diligently with Roku to deliver Crave to Roku users, and we’re absolutely thrilled to share this news with Canadians today,” said Tracey Pearce, President, Distribution and Pay, Bell Media. “Roku streaming players and Roku TV models deliver a premium user experience that is simple to use, and truly elevates the Crave experience for subscribers.”
Prior to the launch on Roku, Bell’s video service has been available on the web, Android, iOS, Apple TV, Chromecast, Xbox One, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, and select Samsung Smart TVs.
“Welcoming Crave to the Roku platform is fantastic news for our Canadian customers,” said Arthur van Rest, Vice President of International at Roku. “Crave helps us increase the volume of Canadian programming on our platform in both English and French, and provides our customers with access to popular services like HBO, Showtime and Starz.”
Bell Media most recently announced that they would be offering a 30-day free trial of Crave.
Crave costs $9.99 CAD per month, you’ll get Crave Originals, current SHOWTIME programming, select HBO library content and previous seasons of some current HBO hits.
For an additional $9.99 CAD per month ($19.98 CAD per month plus tax) gets you Crave + Movies + HBO, you’ll still get all the Crave Originals plus HBO’s current lineup of shows, movies, documentaries and specials plus Hollywood movies.
There’s also the Starz add-on for Crave which is another $5.99 CAD per month and that gets you Starz Originals, more Hollywood movies and 2 live channels & on-demand.
