It’s time to venture “Into the Unknown” again as Frozen 2 is set to release on home video and digital this February.
According to Disney, Frozen 2 is about:
Why was Elsa born with magical powers? What truths about the past await Elsa as she ventures into the unknown to the enchanted forests and dark seas beyond Arendelle? The answers are calling her but also threatening her kingdom. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she’ll face a dangerous but remarkable journey. In “Frozen,” Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world.
The film has grossed more than $1.403 billion at the box office since it’s release in November. Frozen 2 has surpassed the original’s box office (which earned $1.281 billion) and Pixar’s Incredibles 2 (with $1.243 billion) and is now the highest-grossing animated film of all time.
The home video and digital release of Frozen 2 come filled with deleted scenes, Easter Eggs, outtakes and a sing-along version. You’ll be able to go behind the scenes with the cast and crew.
The digital release of Frozen 2 comes with two exclusives, one is an interview with husband and wife songwriting duo, Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez who write the songs for both films. The other is a deleted song called “Unmeltable Me.”
Frozen 2 releases on Digital HD and 4K Ultra HD on February 11th. Then followed by the 4K Blu-ray, Blu-ray and DVD release on February 25th.
