One of the highlights from CES 2019 was LG’s Signature OLED TV R and now the company has a new rollable display concept for CES 2020.
The company’s display division called LG Display announced its 65-inch UHD Roll-Down OLED display, which unlike last year’s model, this concept is stored in the ceiling and can be pulled down when needed.
LG Display says that this new display is design to help maximize the use of space in your home.
In addition to the ceiling-mounted rollable TV, LG Display will be adding a new 48-inch screen size for their OLED TVs. The current LG OLED TVs come in 55, 65, 77 and 88-inches.
LG Display will also be showing off their automotive displays at CES. These include their 14-inch Cluster, 12.3-inch Center Information Display, 12.3-inch Co-Driver Display and a 12.8-inch Control Pad Display.
When the displays are combined together in single cover glass, it brings a refined overall design. It’s possible that LG Display might be supplying Cadillac with their display technology for their upcoming 2021 Escalade’s 38-inch infotainment display.
The company hasn’t said when the 65-inch UHD Roll-Down OLED display will go on sale.
