After the success of the first live-action Star Wars show, the series creator Jon Favreau has announced when season 2 will arrive.
The show was renewed for a second season earlier this year before its debut in November.
Disney is also working on an Obi-Wan Kenobi series for its streaming service. Ewan McGregor is set to reprise his role and Deborah Chow to direct, executive produce and co-write the series alongside.
The Obi-Wan Disney+ series is set to begin filming in July 2020 but no release date has been officially announced.
Aside from The Mandalorian Season 2, we’ll also see the release of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, one of many Marvel Disney+ series in the works.
Season 2 of The Mandalorian is set to air in Fall 2020 and just like other Disney+ Original series, it will likely follow the same weekly format.
