Disney and Lucasfilm has released the final trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
According to Disney:
Lucasfilm and director J.J. Abrams join forces once again to take viewers on an epic journey to a galaxy far, far away with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the riveting conclusion of the seminal Skywalker saga, where new legends will be born and the final battle for freedom is yet to come.
Daisy Ridley (Rey), Adam Driver (Kylo Ren), John Boyega (Finn), Oscar Isaac (Poe), Lupita Nyong’o (Maz), Domhnall Gleeson (Hux), Kelly Marie Tran (Rose), Joonas Suotamo (Chewbacca), and Billie Lourd (Ko Connix) will all be reprising their roles. They will then be joined by Naomi Ackie, Richard E. Grant, and Keri Russell.
Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO) will be returning along with Billy Dee Williams reprising his role as Lando Calrissian. Even though Carrie Fisher had passed away in December 2016, she’ll still be in Episode IX as Leia Organa, using previously unreleased footage from Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
The film was co-written and directed by J.J. Abrams with Chris Terrio as the film’s co-writer.
In addition to the final trailer being released, tickets for The Rise of Skywalker are now available for purchase, everywhere tickets are sold.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will be released on December 20th, 2019.
