Just ahead of IFA 2019, Dell has given their XPS 13 a add performance boost with addition of the Intel 10th Gen Core U series processors.

The Dell XPS 13 (7390) still retains the same design as the previous model from this year (the 9380) but can now be optioned with a 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10710U processor, up to 16GB of RAM and 2TB PCIe SSD.

There’s also a 13.3-inch (touch or non-touch depending on resolution) InfinityEdge display which can be optioned at Full HD (1080p) or 4K UHD resolution with Dolby Vision support. The top of the screen has the 2.25mm webcam that is Dell’s smallest and is no longer a nose-cam like on the 2018 XPS 13.

The battery is 52Whr which Dell says is set to last up to 19 hours thanks to their Power Manager software and the efficiency in the 10th Gen Intel processors.

Colours for the XPS 13 (7390) include Platinum Silver with a Carbon Fibre palm rest or Rose Gold or Frost White with respective arctic white interior.

The Dell XPS 13 (7390) is set to launch on August 27th for $1,299 CAD ($899 USD).

Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 (7390)

The previously announced Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 (7390) is now available. The laptop is powered by the 10th Gen Intel processors (up to an Intel Core i7-1065) that is 2.5 times more powerful but is 8% thinner.

It has a 13.4-inch InfinityEdge display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and has the 2.25 mm webcam at the top of the display.

The XPS 13 2-in-1 can be optioned with a Full HD+ touch display or an UltraSharp 4K Ultra HD+ touch display.

The XPS 13 2-in-1 comes with Intel UHD Graphics and Intel Iris Plus, up to 32GB of RAM, up to a 1TB SSD. There’s also a 51WHr battery that Dell says you can get up to 16 hours of battery life.

For ports, there are 2 Thunderbolt 3 ports with DisplayPort and Power Delivery, microSD card reader and a headphone jack.

The XPS 13 2-in-1 (7390) is available now and starts at $1,399 CAD ($999 USD).
