Cyberpunk 2077 coming to Google Stadia in 2020

During Google’s second Stadia Connect, the company announced a few games coming to their streaming service including CD Projekt Red’s upcoming title.

According to CD Projekt Red:

Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour and body modification. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality. You can customize your character’s cyberware, skillset and playstyle, and explore a vast city where your choices shape the story and the world around you.

The Xbox One, PS4 and PC versions of Cyberpunk 2077 are set to launch on September 17th, 2020. But Google nor CD Projekt Red has said when the Stadia version of the game will launch other than sometime in 2020.

In addition to Cyberpunk 2077, Google announced that Kine, Orcs Must Die 3 (a Stadia exclusive), Windjammers 3, Superhot, Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle and the upcoming Destroy All Humans! remake will be coming to Stadia.

Google isn’t done announcing games for Stadia, there are still unannounced titles from Capcom, EA and Rockstar Games (rumours are suggesting Red Dead Redemption 2) to be revealed.

Stadia launches in November in Canada, US, UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland.

Update – January 17th, 2020: CD Projekt Red has delayed Cyberpunk 2077 from April to September 2020. This article has been updated to reflect that.
