THQ Nordic have announced a remake of the 2005 game, Destroy All Humans!
According to THQ Nordic:
The cult-classic returns! Terrorize the people of 1950s Earth in the role of the evil alien Crypto-137,” according to the product description. “Harvest their DNA and bring down the US government in the faithful remake of the legendary alien invasion action adventure. Annihilate puny humans using an assortment of alien weaponry and psychic abilities. Reduce their cities to rubble with your flying Saucer! One giant step on mankind!
The game will be built from the ground up using the Unreal Engine 4 and will also include a restored, much-rumoured and never before seen content called Lost Mission of Area 42.
The original 2005 game was developed by (now-defunct) Pandemic Games and published by THQ. The upcoming remake will be handled by German-based developer, Black Forest Games.
The Destroy All Humans! remake will be released for Xbox One, PS4, PC sometime in 2020, just in time for the 15th anniversary of 2005 game.
