Sony has announced the WH-XB900N wireless headphones which are a cheaper alternative to their WH-1000XM3 headphones.
The WH-XB900N comes with Sony’s Extra Bass technology that will enhance low-end frequencies to make your music feel deeper and louder.
Just like Sony’s WH-1000XM3, there is noise cancellation technology that included additional microphones to isolate sound when talking on the phone with the WH-XB900N.
The right side of the headphones has a touchpad that allows you to change volume, answer calls and talk to your the Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. If you place your hand over the right ear cup, it will activate Quick Attention Mode to turn down the volume and deactivate noise cancellation.
There’s also NFC to quick pairing and a foldable design that fits nicely into the included carry bag.
You can expect up to 30 hours of battery life and there’s a USB-C port that has quick charging which gives your 90 minutes of playback time in just 10 minutes.
The Sony WH-XB900N headphones are set to be released at the end of June for $249 USD and come in two colours, black and blue. We’ve reached out to Sony for Canadian pricing and availability.
